Keeping A Fox As A Pet - When people think of the fox, the first thing that comes to mind is the animal where men armed with guns and accompanied by dogs go on a hunt. This event, which is quite popular in many parts of Europe and in the United States, still happens today. The fox is closely related to dogs, wolves and jackals. The pointed nose, bushy tail and at times long ears make this distinction. This animal travels alone and is very wary of humans. Given these facts, can such a creature be brought home and cared for as an exotic pet?
Feeding Dogs Dairy Products! Whether or not dogs can eat dairy products such as milk, Yoghurt and cheese is one of the most commonly asked questions from new dog owners. Unfortunately there is no concise answer to this, since individual dogs vary. The most abundant sugar in dairy products is lactose, which is a disaccharide that consists of bonded galactose and glucose fragments and which requires an enzyme called lactase to be able to digest it. The enzyme cleaves the lactose molecule into its two subunits, the simple sugars glucose and galactose, which can then be readily absorbed. When a mammals body does not secrete the lactase enzyme from their intestinal villi, they are unable to digest lactose and may suffer from unusual digestive symptoms.
