Amazing Animals - Animal life is an interesting subject. It is amazing to know that there are more than 545 types of butterflies. There is also data about extinct animals and evolution in animals that shows improvement in their genetic structure. Some animal’s live in a herd like the elephants, boars, wild dogs or wolves. Predators usually live in small groups. There are solitary animals like the Tasmanian devil that is carnivores and survives on any food.
Feeding Dogs Dairy Products! Whether or not dogs can eat dairy products such as milk, Yoghurt and cheese is one of the most commonly asked questions from new dog owners. Unfortunately there is no concise answer to this, since individual dogs vary. The most abundant sugar in dairy products is lactose, which is a disaccharide that consists of bonded galactose and glucose fragments and which requires an enzyme called lactase to be able to digest it. The enzyme cleaves the lactose molecule into its two subunits, the simple sugars glucose and galactose, which can then be readily absorbed. When a mammals body does not secrete the lactase enzyme from their intestinal villi, they are unable to digest lactose and may suffer from unusual digestive symptoms.
